PUBG Xbox One is ready to leave the Game Preview program on September 4th the popular Battle Royale will update itself to version 1.0 which will mark the debut of the final edition. The announcement came during the event organized by Microsoft at Gamescom in Cologne.
The PUBG Xbox One version 1.0 will introduce a series of contents, including the Sanhok map, inspired by the islands of Southeast Asia. The new battlefield will be small (4×4) with faster and more hectic battles. Sanhok will also introduce new weapons and vehicles to the implementation of dynamic climate changes and for the first time will also come with the Xbox One version.
The definitive PUBG version will also introduce War Mode on Xbox One, a true deathmatch style battle royale experience where players will hunt inside a static area with the possibility of reviving and saving teammates. The introduction of in-game currency to purchase cosmetics, Event Pass: Sanhok, which will allow players to open up more missions, more levels, and tons of permanent rewards on the Sanhok map, and much more.
The full version of PUBG Xbox One will be available in both digital and physical edition, the latter will carry over from Xbox Game Preview to Full Product Release. It will guarantee access to the DLC – the Xbox #1.0/99 Set, featuring an exclusive collection of clothing and accessories inspired by Xbox brand colors. Current owners of the game and new players who purchase the game digitally can download the exclusive Xbox #1.0 Set beginning September 4th for a limited time from the in-game lobby.
To celebrate the announcement of the PUBG Xbox One version 1.0, the limited edition wireless Xbox controller dedicated to the popular Battle Royale was also introduced and will be available starting October 30th. The new controller will feature an exclusive design, with unprecedented grip and will grant access to a DLC with themed cosmetic items.
