ProGrade Digital launches New CFast 2.0, SDXC UHS-II Memory Cards and Card Reader

Former Lexar executives split up to form a new company called ProGrade Digital after the Lexar brand was acquired by a Chinese company, and was declared dead in September 2017. Now, former engineers, Lexar’s former board of directors, with more than 60 years of experience, has teamed up with ProGrade to compete with SanDisk.

“Our goal is to be the professional’s source for top performing, professional grade memory cards, and workflow solutions,” says founder and CEO Wes Brewer. “We will be committed to focusing our efforts on the digital imaging pro who is meticulous about his equipment and workflow-delivering the best service, plus best product quality and reliability.”

The ProGrade Digital CFast 2.0 (550MB/sec) and SDXC UHS-II (200MB/sec) cards come with high capacity. Control chips will be optimized for professional-grade cameras and each card will be subject to stringent quality control at the lowest hardware level to the highest quality.

You can buy the ProGrade Digital memory cards from Amazon, CFast 2.0 memory cards are available in three options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB for $229.99, $349.99, and $699.99 respectively.

ProGrade Digital Card Reader

The ProGrade Digital SDXC UHS-II memory cards are also available on Amazon, it is also available in three options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB for $54.99, $94.99, and $189.99 respectively.

The ProGrade Digital card reader will have two CFast and SDXC slots with USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gb/s). And you will be using this speed with each card slot rather than dividing it like other card readers. Memory card reader Comes with a 0.5m cable (a Type A to Type C cable and a Type C to Type C cable) and a 2-year warranty, priced at $80.
