With Atom SQ, Presonus presents a MIDI Controller Keyboard Pad performance and production controller with deep Studio One integration and interesting features. Presonus Atom SQ has a unique design that is optimized for both TR-style 16-step beat sequencing and drum pattern editing in Studio One or playing instruments and RGB-lit 32-pad configuration.
In addition to the current Studio One version 5, Presonus also offers a hardware controller that extends the Atom range. Atom SQ is a versatile MIDI pad performance and production controller with USB-C bus, pressure-sensitive RGB LED pads, that do classic 16-step beat sequencing, playing instruments, and launching clips in Ableton Live.
The Atom SQ MIDI Keyboard offers a configurable touch strip, an arpeggiator, and options for working with different scales. Classic transport controls (stop, playback, recording …), a special click-track switch, eight endless encoders, and a zoom/reduce function are also available with which you can get in and out of the timeline and navigate between the tracks.
For a good overview, the Atom SQ controller offers an LCD screen display with a dynamic button system, which changes the function display depending on the task. The controller is also Ableton Live ready; this allows you to do detailed settings that support working with Ableton Live in a practical way.
Presonus Atom SQ comes with the Studio One Artist DAW for composing and producing plus two loop MIDI libraries with user-defined Impact XT kits. New in version 5: With Studio One Artist, VST and AU plug-ins and virtual instruments from third parties can now also be used.
