Zoom audio has introduced the new H6 Black Handy Recorder, a compact and versatile zoom audio recorder for film, music, podcasts and more.

According to the manufacturer, the Zoom H6 Black was developed as an indispensable companion for producers, musicians or filmmakers who want to record professional-quality audio on the go.

This new zoom recorder has interchangeable input capsules, a large LCD color display, four microphone/line inputs and six tracks for high-quality recordings. The included XYH-6 X/Y capsule offers a second input via a stereo 1/8 “mini – Jack socket and allows the user to connect external zoom microphones and also has built-in effects, including low pass filter, compression, and limiter.

Via the USB connection, the H6 Black can be used as a stereo or multi-channel audio interface for the computer or the iPad. Four AA batteries ensure a zoom recording time of over 20 hours and make the H6 Zoom recorder a perfect companion for outdoor shots or when traveling.
