Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will land on Nintendo Switch on November 16th: Nintendo and Game Freak announced a few hours ago the two well-known games. You will then return to the Kanto region to embark on a journey into a whole new world with an unprecedented style of play combined with the fun of collecting Pokémon.
The two games are based on the historical Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, debuted in Japan back in 1998, but the development team has updated and redesigned the entire structure to make the most of the peculiarities of Nintendo Switch, the Joy-Con and introduce a series of mechanics taken from the popular Pokemon Go. The practice of capturing Pokémon, for example, has been radically changed compared to previous titles: in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee it will shake the Joy-Con to launch a Poke Ball on the target.
Also present a mode for two players that will allow two friends, sharing the Joy-Con, to venture and fight together in the Kanto region.
Also, the debut of a new accessory called the Poke Ball Plus that can be used to play Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! instead of the Joy-Con. In addition to motion controls, the device will light up with a variety of colors, vibrate and reproduce sounds: when you try to capture a Pokemon, for example, the creature will move inside the Poke Ball and once trapped you will hear even his cry.
The Poke Ball Plus will also be compatible with Pokemon Go and will allow players to always carry one of Let’s Go Pokémon, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! in everyday life, an action that will allow you to receive useful in-game rewards. Both games can also be linked to Pokémon GO with the ability to transfer some creatures.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will be suitable for series veterans but also for beginners thanks to an accessible gameplay, but not for this deeper. Players will then leave for an epic adventure together with Pikachu or Eevee, depending on the version purchased, and will be valuable helpers on the battlefield.
