PNY technologies, a company we usually associate with graphics cards with Nvidia GPU, but over the years has worked on several fronts, achieving important results also in the storage and workstation segment.
During the GTC DC 2017, organized by Nvidia last week, the manufacturer has shown its new high-end mobile workstation, characterized by its size and weight, and a high profile hardware configuration. This is PNY PrevailPro P4000, a system available in three different variants, but the model with an Intel Core i7 and Nvidia Quadro P4000 8GB CPUs we find its most powerful version.
The laptop measures 379 x 248 x 18 mm and weight of 2.2 kg, an acceptable solution for those who work in mobility but does not want to give up the computing power.
Coming to PrevailPro P4000 specifications, PNY added Core i7-7700HQ processor, HM175 Express Chipset with 32GB of DDR4 RAM, PCI-E 512GB SSD, and a 15.6-inch 4K panel managed by the powerful Nvidia Quadro P4000 GPU; and NVIDIA Max-Q design to deliver capabilities, compute performance, spectacular simultaneous 4K four-display screen real estate, and Virtual Reality.
Finally, the excellent connectivity department, including USB Type-C 3.1 (Gen 2) and USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, miniDisplay port 1.3, HDMI, card reader, and gigabit LAN.
