PNY adds 960GB SSD drive to its CS900 Series

PNY technologies has added a new model of SSD in its CS900 series line-up. This is the 960GB solid state drive that doubles what until now was the maximum capacity of the solutions belonging to this family of products characterized by an interesting price point.

This is a standard 2.5″ and 7 mm thick SSD drive to update your laptop or as a replacement for a hard drive of the same capacity, intended for data storage in a desktop solution.

The PNY CS900 Series including this 960GB SATA-based SSD drive which uses TLC NAND 3D flash and offers ECC, end-to-end data protection, secure erasing, and energy-saving solutions to help ensure a greater battery life in mobile solutions such as laptops, convertibles and latest generation 2-in-1 devices.

The specifications declared by PNY talking about sequential reads of 535 MB/s and sequential writes of 515 MB/s. The company also declares the drive at 2 million hours MTBF and they cover it with a 3-year warranty.
