The PlayPad VR is the first product to be produced based on the collaboration between Nyko and Samsung. From now, Nyko will start producing accessories and controllers for Samsung, and start with the PlayPad VR controller, priced at $49.99 and will be available for consumers later this year.
The PlayPad is basically a wireless gamepad will be connected via Bluetooth and the most special ability to attach it to the front of the Gear VR headset for storage when not in use. The gamepad offers a D-pad, two joysticks, and four shoulder buttons.
It is compatible with Samsung Gear VR headset and Android operating system, which can be used to play most Android games as well as control games in Gear VR. When not in use, you can install PlayPad VR into VR for storage convenience.
