Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Wireless Headphones Launched at $199.99

California based audio specialist Plantronics has launched its latest over-the-ear Wireless headphones – BackBeat PRO 2 in USA. The headset works on Bluetooth technology, and also features on-demand active noise cancelling, and a claimed up to 24-hour battery life. The Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 price is around $199.99 USD and the headphones are on sale now through Amazon.com online store. 

The Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Wireless headphones uses On-demand active noise-cancellation (ANC) means you can minimize background noise when needed while working or traveling, and switch to open-listening mode to hear announcements, conversations or your environment without removing your headphones.

It also comes with an advanced technology including Multipoing technology allows users to connect the headphones to two devices at the same time, so user can easily switch from music and movies on their tablet to answering calls on their phone. It has Smart sensors can pause music automatically when user remove the headphones and will resume it when user put it back on. This Plantronics Headset also track battery status and will alert users when it’s getting low. 

The Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Wireless headphones also provide up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, up to 21 days of standby time, and up to 6 months of DeepSleep hibernation if inadvertently left on. The BackBeat PRO 2 features a 40mm drivers with Plantronics signature audio which can deliver an immersive, high-res sound, and can balance between high bass, highs and mid-tones.

For connectivity, there is a Class 1 Bluetooth functionality which can stream audio up to 100 meters / 330 feet. The company also announced a special edition of this Plantronics Phone Headsets called BackBeat PRO 2 SE with NFC pairing, more premium finishes and a hard travel case will be available in graphite grey color, priced at $249.99 USD.
