Ricoh Imaging has announced the new PENTAX D FA 24-70mm f2.8ED lens with full-frame sensor support. It is possible that firm is rushing to prepare for its first launch of full-frame DSLR camera early next year. With a focal length range of 24mm stretches to 70mm, new HD Pentax-D FA lenses fitted with the latest optical elements technology could be able to compete with rivals such as Nikon 24-70mm, Tamron 24-70mm or Canon EF 24-70mm. The company also did not forget to add multi-layer HD Coating to increase light transmission and reducing the optical phenomena as unwanted ghosts, glare etc. Pentax lens also favor in new SDM electric motor system (Supersonic Direct-drive Motor), for faster, quick and smooth autofocus. Quick-Shift Focus system is also integrated for users to switch faster between manual focus and autofocus.
