Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 and FZ-F1 Rugged Smartphones Announced at MWC 2016

Looking at this design, we would surely figure out that both the Panasonic FZ-N1 / FZ-F1 have a good drop resistance rating of 6′ (2,000 consecutive drops from a height of 1m 8cm), also feature a waterproof and dustproof body, certified IP65 and IP67 (can last under water for 30 minutes at 1m 8cm). Both designed to survive or use in harsh environments such as construction sites, factories, workshops etc.

The rear camera part is quite bulky, slightly bigger because it integrates a laser barcode reader to scan barcodes, that allows the user to scan items without bending at the elbow or wrist while also being able to clearly read the screen. Both the devices come equipped with a 4.7-inch with HD 720 x 1280 pixels resolution that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1

On connectivity front, includes Wi-Fi a / b / g / n, NFC, optional 3G, 4G LTE, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB 2.0 port options. The handsets have two front speakers, Panasonic does not mention battery capacity, but it says their products can continuously run up to 8 hours with normal usage, up to 700 hours of standby time, and up to 24 hours of talk time.

Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 price around $1,499 for Wi-Fi only variant and will start selling in next summer of this year. While the Windows 10 Mobile Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1 price settled around $1,599, supports 4G LTE will be available for purchase in fall 2016.
