Panasonic Lumix GX8 with 20MP Micro Four Thirds Sensor, 4K video and Dual I.S. Technology Launched

Panasonic has introduced a new Micro Four Third camera called Lumix GX8 with 20.3-megapixel Digital Live CMOS sensor.Panasonic-Lumix-GX8

The Panasonic Lumix GX8 is a compact camera integrates many improved features and the latest technology from Panasonic as Dual Image Stabilizer, 4K video and Venus Engine processor. It is also the first Micro Four Thirds camera with 20.3MP image sensor. Compared with recently launched Lumix G7, the GX8 is smaller in size and available in two silver and black color options.

The Lumix GX8 is the first camera in the G series which integrates Dual I.S. (Image Stabilization) technology. With the new Dual I.S., both Body I.S. and Lens I.S. work at the same time to take advantage of both stabilizers not only in wide angle shooting but also in telephoto. It is also powered by a new Venus Engine processor with a quad-core CPU to increase high speed signal processing. The Lumix GX 8 enables shooting at max. ISO of 25,600 and also capable of high speed burst shooting at 8 fps (AFS) / 6 fps (AFC) helping users not to miss critical photo opportunities.Lumix-GX8

The Panasonic Lumix GX8 features DFD (Depth From Defocus) Technology for the camera to focus more accurately and faster, especially in the context of the focus of moving subjects (focus tracking). The Lumix GX8 capable of shooting 4k video at 30 frames/sec. In addition, the camera has 3-inch OLED rotating display with 1 million pixels resolution.
