OWC Computing announced the availability of 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. These are Aura P12 M.2 NVMe SSD, which are used in OWC Envoy Pro EX Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C external drives, as well as in ThunderBlade and Accelsior 4M2 storage devices, which are now offered with up to 16 TB of capacity.
OWC Aura P12 uses 3D NAND flash memory and security features including TCG Opal and TCG Pyrite. They demonstrate read speeds of up to 3400 MB/s and write speeds of up to 3000 MB/s, so you can stream high-res video and graphics files without a glitch.
The NVMe M.2 SSD offers dependable speed and data protection for on-location downloads of large media files as well as adds a new performance dimension to your PC that can equate to faster previews, renders, and processing in audio and VFX programs.

The OWC Accelsior 4M2 PCIe M.2 NVMe internal storage installed in the PCIe slot provides speeds of up to 6000 MB/s, and external ThunderBlade storage – up to 2800 MB/s.

New OWC 4TB Aura P12 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD comes with a three-year warranty, and it is already available to buy via the Amazon.com store for $1,078. Envoy Pro EX TB3 4 TB costs $1,180, Envoy Pro EX USB-C 4 TB for $1,129. And ThunderBlade and Accelsior 4M2 16TB storage priced at $ 4,999 and $ 4,800, respectively.
Earlier this year, OWC has replenished the Mini version of the external SSD drive named OWC ThunderBay 4 Mini. It is available in Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 2 interfaces.
