Oukitel unveils the list of devices that will receive Android Nougat

At the beginning of 2017, most of the major smartphones manufactures update their smartphones to current Android Nougat OS. The Oukitel brand is also joining the race. 

A report issued this week from the company that they planned to update six smartphones models will receive the latest version of Android to the end of the first quarter of 2017. Thereafter Oukitel smartphones can boast all the advantages and Android Nougat Features such as an advanced power management, new design and improved optimization.

According to Oukitel, new Android 7.0 Update for the smartphones will be available via over the air during the first three months of 2017, here we have lists of the devices:

• Oukitel U7 Plus – January 2017
• Oukitel U15 Pro – February 2017
• Oukitel K6000 Pro – February 2017
• Oukitel U15S – March 2017 (Dido OS)
• Oukitel K10000 – March 2017
• Oukitel C5 Pro – March 2017
• Oukitel U20 Plus – Unconfirmed

The update for Oukitel U20 Plus smartphone with dual camera has not confirmed yet. In addition, it is expected to release the firmware based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Oukitel K6000 in February 2017.

The Oukitel U7 Plus has already received an initial update based on Android 7 Nougat and the final version should arrive over the air; on the occasion of the Chinese Spring Festival which will be celebrated on 28th January, 2017.
