Oppo appears set to launch a new smartphone in China, called the Oppo R11. The smartphone has been listed on the company site without price, but it will be available from June 10, 2017. The smartphone’s highlight feature is its dual camera system and the first device of the company running Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Oppo R11 Specifications
The dual-SIM Oppo R11 runs Color OS based on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core CPU coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display that can translate a pixel density of 401ppi. The device has slim metal unibody with the Home Button on the front which also works as the fingerprint sensor.
The R11 is equipped with a dual camera system including a 20-megapixel telephoto camera and a 16-megapixel wide-angle to capture depth-of-field images. The camera also offers a 2x optical zoom and comes with a Qualcomm Spectra Image Sensor Processor. There is dual-LED flash and also sports Portrait Mode, and much more other features as well. For selfie-lovers, the smartphone has a 20-megapixel camera for high-quality video calling. You can also record FHD videos through the cameras, with a number of additional features.
The smartphone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, and for connectivity, includes 4GVoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack options. It packs a 2900mAh battery that is rated to offer up to a day’s worth of mixed usage. The online listing teased that there will be one-year screen damage insurance that will be priced at $19; a six-month extended warranty at $12, and a one year extended warranty service at $19 in China. As mentioned above, the Oppo R11 price yet to revealed by the company, but it will be sold with a price tag of $485.
