The Oppo K3 has been officially launched in China. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.5-inch Samsung AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner.
Oppo K3 Price and Availability
The Oppo K3 price in China has been set at CNY 1,599 – approximately $230 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 1,899 – approximately $274 and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs CNY 2,299 – approximately $332. The device will go on sale in China from June 1st and the top-end 8GB + 256GB version will be available mid-June. The handset comes in Nebula Purple, Green and White color options.
Oppo K3 Specifications
The Oppo K3 features a 6.5-inch Samsung AMOLED no-notch display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 91.1% screen-to-body ratio, and DC dimming. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
On the camera front, the K3 features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera and LED flash. For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds. The pop-up mechanism has been tested over 200,000 times, says the company. It has a next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner that is 28.5% faster with a 10% success rate in unlocking.
The Oppo K3 has a 3D gradient back with S-shaped curve and packs a 3765mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. The device measures 161.2×76.0×9.4mm and weigh 191 grams.
