Oppo Joy 3 with 4.5-inch Display and 5MP camera Launched in India

Oppo India Today launched its Oppo Joy 3 Smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 7,990 – approximately $126. Just yesterday, Oppo announced its new smartphone named Oppo A51 in China with a price tag of $273.

The Oppo Joy 3 is already listed on the company website and will soon be available another region such as America, Africa, Europe, and Oceania.

The Oppo Joy 3 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and pixel density of 217ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, MediaTek MT6582M SoC, Mali-400MP2 GPU, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage and also supports microSD card to expand memory up to 32GB.

The Oppo Joy 3 is an upgraded version of the Oppo R1001 Joy smartphone, it sports 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus, LED flash, f/2.4 aperture and various camera applications such as Double exposure, Beautify, Audio Photo, Pure Image 2.0+, and a silver frame design, while there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera to take selfie and video calling. It is also comes with gesture control to turn on-off screen, just double tap on the screen to awake, slide up or down with two fingers to pause and play the music, or draw a circle to directly access the camera.

The Oppo Joy 3 is a Dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with the company’s own Color OS 2.0 UI. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery, measures 132.8 x 66.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs only 135g.
