Oppo F7 With 6.23- 19:9 Notch Display, 25MP Selfie Camera and 6GB RAM Announced

After leaked in promotional images, the Oppo F7 has been officially launched in India. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.23-inch 19:9 display, 6GB RAM, 25MP front camera with HDR sensor, AI Beauty 2.0 for an improved age and gender beautification effects and facial recognition capability by scanning 296 facial recognition points, a 20% improvement from the first-generation technology and rear fingerprint sensor.

Oppo F7 price in India is Rs. 21,990 for 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, there is also a Sunrise Red 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version for Rs. 26,990 and the Special Diamond Black edition with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 26,990. It will be available through Flipkart online store starting from April 9, 2018. The handset comes in Diamond Black, Solar Red and Moonlight Silver color options.

Design of the Oppo F7, with the notch at the centre of it all, has been given away by the company in teasers on social media as well as its website. Also apparent is the bezel-less design; the company has confirmed the upcoming model will sport a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Super Full Screen display will measure 6.2-inch and have full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) resolution, and 89.09 percent screen-to-ratio.

On the software front, the Oppo F7 appears to run Android 8.1 Oreo OS based on ColorOS 5.0 with features such as facial unlock and screen recording. For navigation, buyers will have to use gestures, and there will be an App-in-App view for multitasking.

For optics, the F7 packs a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with f/1.8 aperture, 4K video recording, and dual-tone LED flash. And for selfies, the smartphone has a 25-megapixel camera in front with f/2.0 aperture, HDR and Sony IMX576 sensor. Coming to the features of the smartphone, photography fans will get AI selfie, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, and Real-time HDR modes in the camera.

AI learning identifies your beautification preferences, based on the most common edits made to photo album images, and automatically creates similar adjustments to new photos. It also has AR (Augmented Reality) Stickers for selfies.

There is also a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS. The battery capacity of the smartphone is said to be 3400mAh, and the handset is claimed to last up to 15 hours on a single charge.
