After the announcement of the Oppo F7 in India, Oppo mobile is also active and introduced the Oppo A83 Pro smartphone in India. It is a higher variant of the Oppo A83 was launched back in January this year in India. It is a mid-range device in its “A-series”, and it comes slightly higher RAM and storage capacity.

The Oppo A83 Pro features a 5.7-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. The device has a slim frame design and its housing made of metal. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor that’s backed MediaTek Helio P23 chipset along with 4GB of RAM (3GB on A83). It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage (32GB on A83) which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB (128GB on A83).
On the camera front, the A83 Pro flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with A.I beauty technology as well as face unlock that can unlock the phone in just 0.18 seconds by scanning 128 feature points on your face. The device lacks the fingerprint sensor but in return, we get Face Unlock feature to unlock the device using facial recognition.
The handset runs on Android 7.1 Nougat -based on ColorOS 3.2 out of the box. It packs a 3180mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. The device measures 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm and weighs 143 grams.
