Oppo A53 5.5-inch Display, Metal body and Octa-core Processor Launched

Oppo A53 has been officially launched in China, as expected, this is a magnesium alloy body design device from the Oppo which is currently listed on the company’s Chinese website without much detail of the pricing and availability. Let’s see more specifications of the device below.Oppo A53

The Oppo A53 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD 720×1280 pixels resolution that can be rated to translate a pixel density of 267ppi alongside 2.5D curved glass to make it more classy. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor which backed by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (MSM8939) chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

For more Oppo A53 specifications; the handset comes equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with ISOcell technology and LED flash. While front panel has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter to capture quality self portraits and video calling. It runs on ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a 3075mAh battery out of the box along with VOOC flash charging technology that can allows up to 300 hours of standby time. The Oppo A53 will be available in Gold and Silver color variant magnesium alloy unibody design, it’s just 7.43 mm thick and weighs 165 grams.

On connectivity front, A53 includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and MicroUSB 2.0 connectivity options.

Last month, Oppo has launched Oppo A33 smartphone in China and has been priced at CNY 1,499 – approximately $234. It features a 5.0-inch IPS display with 540×960 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 220ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor alongside backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. The A33 has an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash; a 5-megapixel selfie shooter; Android 5.1 Lollipop-based on ColorOS 2.1 OS and 2400mAh battery.
