OnePlus 5T will be launched globally on November 16 and will become available for purchase in North America, Europe, and India on November 21. The company is live streaming the event from New York City on YouTube, and OnePlus 5T price will be under CNY 4,000 – approximately $600, the company’s CEO Pete Lau had revealed earlier, and its highlight is said to be the 6-inch display with bezel-less design and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Certain features of the OnePlus 5T, such as the presence of 3.5 audio jack and absence of wireless charging, have already been confirmed by the brand, while the OnePlus 5T price cap has been teased too. CEO Lau has revealed the next flagship will not feature wireless charging, and users will have to settle with Dash Charge fast-charging.

OnePlus 5T will be the company’s first smartphone to sport a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The thin bezels will shift the capsule-shaped fingerprint scanner to the back of the device. The smartphone is likely to have a portrait mode to capture images with bokeh effect.

The leaked video of the OnePlus 5T has also highlighted the absence of the home button at the front. The device will come with an upgraded dual-camera setup that would include optical image stabilization (OIS) and a larger set of image sensors than what was featured on the OnePlus 5 earlier this year.

Coming to OnePlus 5T specifications, the device will feature a 6.0-inch Quad-HD screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and it is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at up to 2.45GHz. It is likely to come in 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 64GB and 128GB storage respectively. It includes a larger 3450mAh battery, weighing in at 164 grams and 7.25mm thickness.

On the camera front, the handset is said to sport a 20-megapixel rear camera coupled with another 16-megapixel sensor, making it a dual camera setup at the back. It is also said to have a 16-megapixel front camera. The handset is rumored to support global 4G LTE bands with 34 network bands and is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box.
