After brands like Huawei, LG, HTC, Apple, Xiaomi also joins the race dual rear camera, and now the new name called OKWU, a new start-up from India has announced new smartphone – the OKWU Pi with the dual rear camera system. This new OKWU smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP and 2MP rear camera sensors. The OKWU Pi price in India is only Rs. 5,999 – approximately $88, one of the affordable dual rear camera smartphone on the market.

In addition, the Pi also has a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel that can unlock the device in 0.2 seconds and can store up to 10 fingerprints. There is a new U-Tag Bluetooth tag technology which can be connected to your belongings and devices, so that you do not forget them. The tagged belongings can be located using a buzzer in close range and the same will also be indicated via alerts on your phone in case it goes beyond a certain distance from the smartphone. The OKWU Pi will also keep uploading its location to their server, which will track its location without overwriting the previous location. The U-Tag accessory will cost about Rs 990 – approximately $15 USD, and can be pre-ordered from 27th November.

Coming to OKWU Pi specs, the handset features a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by MediaTek MT6735 64-bit SoC and clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of native storage space, which can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. OKWU

As mentioned above the Pi comes with dual rear cameras including an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), LED flash, and can capture depth of field images. There is 2-megapixel front-facing camera along with front LED flash to capture bright selfies and video calls.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and 2000mAh battery out of the box. For connectivity, it supports Dual SIM 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio options. The device is 6.5 mm thick and weighs 138 grams.
