Official Samsung W2018 Price: Flip Phone starts From $3,356

Chinese mobile operator China Telecom, which is the exclusive seller of Samsung W series smartphones (also known as Heart of the World and Xinxitianxia), announced the official price of the newest Samsung Flip phones.

The device was announced in early December of this year and Samsung W2018 price in China starts from CNY 21,999 – approximately $3,356 for 64GB storage variant. While the Premium version of the flip phone, which has 256GB of native storage will cost CNY 24,999 – approximately $3,814.

Recall the Samsung W2018 specifications, besides its classic clamshell design, the handset is also world’s first that comes with f/1.5 aperture 12-megapixel rear camera sensor. However, that is not the only special thing about the camera, while it does have an aperture of 1.5, it can switch to a 2.4 aperture size as well depending on the lighting.

The Samsung W2018, on the other hand, varies it mechanically just like a DSLR. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. There is a fingerprint sensor, and a dedicated Bixby voice assistant key and a classic physical T9 keyboard with numeric and the circular navigation keys.

The dual-SIM Samsung W2018 smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with two 4.2-inch Full HD displays with a (1080×1920 pixels) screen resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a Micro-USB port that also operates as a headphone jack. It houses a 2300mAh battery that’s rated to deliver a standby time of up to 64 hours.
