ZTE brand Nubia after unveiling Nubia Z17 Mini back in April this year, now announced the Nubia Z17 flagship smartphone in China. This new top range smartphone boasts inside the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM, so far seen in Asus ZenFone AR. ZTE Nubia Z17 price in China is set to about CNY 2,799 – approximately $411 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM version, CNY 3,399 – approximately $499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM and CNY 3,999 – approximately $587 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM model. The handset is available in Aurora Blue, Black Gold, Obsidian Black, Solar Gold, Flame Red color variants and will go on sale from June 6 in China.

ZTE Nubia Z17 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) pixels resolution along with 450 nits brightness, 96% NTSC color gamut and the screen is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. The device has a water resistant design and its housing made of durable aluminum alloy. It is powered by a 2.45 GHz Octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor chipset paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It packs a 6GB LPDDR4x RAM + 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage with microSD card support.
On the camera front, Z17 flaunts a dual rear camera sensors – one is a 12-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture, 0.03-second dual pixel focus, 1/2.55″ CMOS sensor, 1.4μm pixel size and a secondary is a 23-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture for 2x optical zoom and 10x dynamic zoom; and dual-tone LED flash. For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens, and NeoVision 7.0 features. The handset also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor as well as the Infrared sensor.
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat -based on Nubia UI 5.0 out of the box. It packs a 3200mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and USB Type-C options.
