Nubia M2, Nubia M2 Lite and Nubia N2 Announced

Nubia at its private event on Tuesday at the China, unveiled the new Nubia M and N series smartphones. The new series has been launched with three models – Nubia M2, Nubia M2 Lite and Nubia N2 – varying in different sizes and specifications.

Nubia M2 price

The Nubia M2 price in China is set to 2699 Yuan – approximately $391 for the 64GB and 128GB storage variant costs 2999 Yuan – approximately $434. The Nubia M2 Lite price is set to 1799 Yuan – approximately $260, while the budget friendly Nubia N2 price is 1999 Yuan – approximately $289. All the three Nubia devices will be available starting from 8, April 2017 in Gold and Black color options. No further information about the availability for other regions.

Nubia N2 Specifications

Starting with the Nubia N2 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLEWD display. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

Nubia n2

On the camera front, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It packs a 5000mAh battery claimed to provide up to 60 hours of talk time, and the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with split screen support. For connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.

Nubia M2 Specifications

The second in the list is the Nubia M2 features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080 x1920 pixels) Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass layer on top of it, and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone stores 64GB and 128GB of inbuilt storage, with expansion via microSD card up to 200GB.

Nubia M2

The Nubia M2 comes with dual-camera setup – 13-megapixel RGB sensor and 13-megapixel Monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture and NeoVision 6.0 camera technology and also covered with a Sapphire glass lens. For selfie, it has a 16-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle. The handset also feature a physical home button on the front, where it comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

Nubia M2 packs a 3630mAh battery that supports NeoPower fast charging. It supports connectivity options like WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, 4G LTE, USB Type-C and TAS2555 audio chip for Hi-Fi sound. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based on Nubia UI 4.0 custom interface.

Nubia M2 Lite Specifications

Lastly, the company also announced the Nubia M2 Lite variant that comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD display, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor Mali-T860 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage is 32GB/64GB, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

Nubia M2 Lite

The smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and dual tone LED flash. There is a 16-megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The Nubia M2 Lite packs a 3000mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charging technology, and front fingerprint sensor embedded in to the Home button. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, 4G LTE, and USB 3.0 Type-C connector. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Nubia UI 4.0, and also offers AW8738 chip with Hi-Fi audio similar to Nubia M2.
