As expected, the Nokia X5 has been officially launched in China. It is the latest budget handset in the company’s X-series line-up that comes with a 5.86-inch 19:9 display with Notch, Dual Rear Cameras and rear fingerprint sensor from HMD Global being launched today.

The Nokia X5 price in China starts from CNY 999 – approximately $148 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs CNY 1,399 – approximately $208. It will be available for order from July 19th via online stores and the handset comes in Black, White and Blue color options.

The Nokia X5 features a 5.86-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio with Notch. It has an 8mm metal unibody design with a glass back cover. It is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm Mobile Platform with 800MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 3GB of RAM with 32GB / 4GB of RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the X5 flaunts a dual rear camera setup: a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portrait shots and LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel camera on the front for AI-powered selfie portraits and beauty mode.
The handset also bears a fingerprint sensor on the back and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box, which is upgradable to Android P. It packs a 3060mAh battery and supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB C. The device measures 149.51×71.98×8mm and weighs 160 grams.
