Nokia has already announced some good smartphones in the market, such as the Nokia 6.1 2018, which has powerful technical specifications and low price. Now it looks like the company is gearing up to introduce a variant of this device, which will be called Nokia X6 or Nokia X and will feature a similar design.
Nokia X hands-on video has been leaked on the web that probably shows the vertical dual camera setup at the back. The device is donning a Black finish, with a fingerprint sensor beneath the camera sensors at the back. The volume rocker and the power button are housed on the right edge of the smartphone.
The Nokia X hands-on video is very short less than a 15 seconds clip, unfortunately, cuts out the notch. Nokia is taking inspiration from the iPhone X and bringing the notch display to the X. Previous leaks show a thin chin at the bottom as well, housing the Nokia branding.
Recall to Nokia X key features: the device will be available in two different versions: one less powerful, with MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and 4GB of RAM; and another more powerful with Snapdragon 636 chipset and 6GB of RAM. It is expected to run Android One-based Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It will most likely sport a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
On the back, the phone might get a12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens, which promises good image quality. Coming to the Nokia X price, it is rumored to cost CNY 1600 – approximately $253 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage model could be priced at CNY 1800 – approximately $285.
The handset is expected to launch at an event in Beijing on May 16, 2018.
