After the official announcement of the Nokia 6, HMD Global at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas comeback in the smartphone market and unveiled a another new smartphone called Nokia 8. The Finnish manufacturer seems to introduce this device at MWC 2017 in Barcelona next month.
Nokia 8 (codenamed Nokia Supreme) reportedly displayed at CES 2017 – (hence the rumor on the Snapdragon 835 Specs on-board), where, however, very few users would have noticed. Not being able to directly confirm the Snapdragon 835 Chipset based devices, the following should be considered as a rumor, pending for further evidence.
Coming to the Nokia 8 specifications – according to the latest rumors, the device is expected to come in two versions such as one with a Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM, while the other version would come with a octa-core Snapdragon 835 Processor clubbed with Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB of RAM and a 24-megapixel primary autofocus camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), EIS 3.0, dual-tone LED flash and also able to record 4K video.
Both the Nokia Phones are expected to come with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution along with a high pixel density of 518ppi. Both will be available in two storage options – 64GB / 128GB storage and supports external microSD card slot up to 256GB. We can also see the dual front facing speakers and the Nokia logo up on front during boot.
Both variants of the Nokia 8 will based on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS, supports Fingerprint sensor and 4G LTE connectivity.
