HMD Global today on Thursday announced the Nokia 7 smartphone in China. It is a mid-range smartphone with 4GB/6GB RAM, 16MP rear camera and Fingerprint sensor from the HMD Global. The Nokia 7 price in China is CNY 2,499 – approximately $376 for 4GB RAM model and CNY 2,699 – approximately $406 for 6GB RAM version. The handset is available in Gloss Black and Matt White color variants and it is now available to pre-order via JD.com, Suning, and Tmall in China; and will go on sale from October 24, 2017.

The Nokia 7 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device has a 7000 series aluminum chassis with diamond-cut beveled edges and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the back. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 14nm chipset paired with Adreno 508 GPU with 4GB / 6GB of LPPDDR4 RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the handset flaunts a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, ZEISS optics, PDAF, 1.12um sensor, 80-degree wide angle and dual-tone LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.12um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 84˚ wide-angle lens. The Nokia 7 also features a Dual-Sight technology that uses both front and rear cameras simultaneously directly from your camera app to create Bothie – a split screen visual for both photos and videos. The device also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 7 handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box, which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs a 3000mAh battery with fast charging (9V/2A) charger. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5 and USB Type-C options.
