Along with the Nokia 2.1, HMD Global also unveiled the Nokia 3.1 at an event in Russia. It is the successor of last year’s Nokia 3 device and represents the mid-budget smartphone segment. The key features of the device are 5.2-inch HD+ 18:9 display, 3GB RAM, Android Oreo, and 13MP rear camera.

The Nokia 3.1 price has been started from $160 and will be available from June 2018. The handset comes in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome, and White/Iron color options.

The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels resolution and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a polycarbonate back and aluminum sides with a dual diamond cut design. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek MT6750N SoC paired with Mali T860 GPU. It comes in two memory options: 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB (eMMC 5.1) storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the 3.1 bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, and 84.6-degree wide-angle lens to capture wide group selfies and video calling.
The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and which is also upgradable to Android P in the near future. It packs a 2990mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 53.7 x 77.7 x 9.35 mm and weighs 138.3 grams.
