Nikon releases Firmware update for AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens

Nikon updated the firmware of its Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens to version 1.01. An update reduces lens vibration when performing autofocus.

The following cameras can be used to update the firmware for Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lenses: Nikon D6, D5, D850, D780, D500, D7500, D3500, and D3400.

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens was first introduced back in 2017. It is a portrait to telephoto zoom offering an f/2.8 aperture, includes six extra-low dispersion elements, as well as one fluorite element and one high refractive index element, to reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved clarity and sharpness.
