Nikon launches the Forestry Pro II Portable Laser Rangefinder with advanced features. This new range finder is an advanced model of the original Nikon Forestry Pro rangefinder, which has proven itself when used in a wooded area.
The new Nikon Forestry Pro II has increased accuracy and response speed with an increased maximum measuring range – from 7.5 to 1600 m. Thanks to Hyper Read technology, the results are now displayed in approximately 0.3 seconds.
The range finder measures the real distance, horizontal distance, height, angle and vertical spacing – the difference in height between two objects. If the base and the top of the object are visible, a two-point measurement is used. If the base or vertex of the object is not visible, an accurate estimate is provided by a three-point measurement.
The results are also displayed on an external display with an enlarged diagonal: from 1.7 inches to 2.1 inches. The external display now has backlighting with three levels of brightness adjustment, which allows you to take measurements and view results even in complete darkness.
The new log function allows you to save up to 250 measurement results, which are displayed in order on an external display with backlight. This way you can take more measurements in less time.
The Nikon Forestry Pro II laser rangefinder is not intended for use underwater, but it can withstand heavy rain and even diving to a depth of 1 m for 10 minutes. The temperature range is from –10 to +50° C.
