Nikon 5500 Camera uses APS-C 24.2 megapixel like its predecessor, the AA filter also removes. Most of the camera from 2013, Nikon AA filter removed from the design. Initially, the AA filter was created to solve a static light interference in one of the cases. But it has also reduced the detail of the image down.
The Nikon D5500 uses EXPEED 4 image processor engine, similar to the full frame professional DSLR D750 launched not long ago. Like the Nikon D5300, Nikon D5500 does not use Low-Pass Filter to provide better detail. The flip horizontal touch screen can also help to capture a selfie or put it at the bottom.
Two new lenses also introduced include a 55-200 mm zoom telephoto lens and a 300 mm telephoto lens. The first is NIKKOR 55-200mm AF-S DX VR II (f / 4.5-5.6) with anti-shake function, Silent Wave Motor technology helps smooth focus. The second one is AF-S VR NIKKOR 300mm (f / 4), Nikon said it was full-frame AF 300mm fixed focal world’s lightest lens, it also has anti-shake function.
In terms of connectivity the camera includes Wi-Fi, Nikon D5500 price is $ 900 or $ 1000 for the body, add more $ 100 for 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6 kit and 18-140mm f / 3.5-5.6 kit will be sold in $ 1,200. Stay connected with us for Nikon D5500 Review.
