Nikon D3400 with 24MP Sensor and Bluetooth Announced at $649

Nikon has just unveiled popular DSLR D3400, next upgraded products of the D3300 was launched in early 2014. Remains the 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor, slightly lighter body, but also increase the battery life from 700 shots to 1,200 shots, suitable for those who travel frequently. In addition the new version also adds the ability to connect to mobile devices through Bluetooth.  Nikon D3400

Nikon D3400 carries similar style as D3300, but Nikon has omitted the ultrasonic sensor cleaning, and an external microphone port. Weight is 395 grams of D3400, 15 grams lighter than the D3300. Although equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, but the camera does not integrate Wi-Fi connection. So SnapBidge features will have lower performance compared to models with Wi-Fi connectivity. SnapBridge creates a connection between a camera and a compatible smart device, making it possible to seamlessly upload amazing images.

In addition to Nikon 3400 Camera, the company has also announced two new lightweight zoom lenses, the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR and AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G. Both new lenses are equipped with Nikon’s Stepping Motor technology for fast and smooth autofocus along with faster and smoother AF speed during live view (contrast-detection AF) and allow for whisper-quiet operation during video recording to minimize camera noise.

The Nikon D3400 price starting from $649.99 USD with the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. It will also be available in a two-lens kit option, including the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR and AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED, for $999.95 USD. While the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR has been priced at $249.95, AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G for $199.95, AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR for $399.95 and AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED at $349.95.
