Nikon adds NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S and 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR Lenses

Alongside the Flagship D6 Digital SLR camera, Nikon has also announced two new lenses to expand its full-frame Z-mount family: Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S and NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR lenses.

The new 20mm F1.8 S is the widest in the Z family, and the 24-200mm F4-6.3 VR covers the widest range of focal lengths of the existing Z-series zoom lenses for the FX-format.

NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S consists of 14 elements in 11 groups, including three ED elements and three aspherical elements. It uses a nine-blade aperture and offers a Nano Crystal Coating. The diameter of the filter thread of this lens is 77 mm, and it weighs 505 grams.

NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR lens consists of 19 elements in 15 groups with two ED, two aspherical and one aspherical ED elements. Built-in stabilization is designed for 4.5 exposure levels, the lens uses a seven-blade aperture. ARNEO and Super Integrated coatings is used to reduce glare, without a Nano Crystal coating. 24-200 mm allows the use of 67 mm filters and weighs 570 grams.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens has been priced at $1,046.95 is now available to pre-order through Bhphotovideo.com store and shipping will start from March.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR Lens has been priced at $896.95, is also available to pre-order through Bhphotovideo.com store and shipping will start from April 16, 2020.
