Along with Nexus 5X, Google also introduced Nexus 6P manufactured by Huawei featuring very thin metal body design with many improved features. The Huawei Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a compact size device with 7.3mm thickness but still owns 3450mAh battery.
The Nexus 6P also equipped with USB type C connectivity, fingerprint sensor and 12.3-megapixel primary autofocus camera with laser technology same as Nexus 5X. Google Nexus 6P following today’s popular design trends such as metal housing with CNC cuts. The back panel is also available in various color choices include Black, White and Metallic gray. The back panel camera portion is made of plastic with dual tone LED flash. The device measures 159.4x77x8mm, it’s leaner than the current Nexus 6, as well as the large screen size of 5.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and pixel density of 518ppi. The Nexus 6P features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera, 1.55μm pixel size and lens sensors manufactured by Sony. The camera will have better imaging performance in low light conditions, improved sensitivity to light and noise reduction, integrated optical image stabilizer lens with f/2.0 aperture.
A few new features like Google integrated Smart Burst with imaging capabilities at 30 frames/sec to create a GIF, the camera is also capable of recording 4K video and supports speeds of 240fps. Nexus 6P is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with 3GB of RAM and Android Sensor Hub can help implement some of the features like auto activate voice recognition or glance notifications, shown when the user picks up the phone. Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor can detect a print in less than 600 milliseconds.
Nexus 6P is available in three versions such as 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of internal memory with prices of $499, $599 and $649 respectively.
