Nexus 6P Vs Nexus 5X Vs Nexus 6: Specification Comparison

Last night, Google launched two new Nexus phone: 6P and 5X, produced by Huawei (6P) and LG (5X). Although both are considered as an updated version of the Nexus 6 was launched last year, but not all features of the Nexus 6 are retained, such as typical wireless charger and the camera with optical image stabilizer. Two new Nexus devices are upgraded with an additional fingerprint sensor, laser focus and USB Type-C.

Both Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X comes with a pre-installed Android 6.0 Marshmellow OS while the Nexus 6 will be upgraded next week. Both 6P and 5X phones feature a small screen than the Nexus 6, although Nexus 6P has 5.7-inch screen, but overall length (159.3mm) of the device same as the Nexus 6.

The Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X both comes with a completely different screen, not only in size, but also in resolution like 6P uses AMOLED and 5X uses IPS display. All three phones do not have any external memory card slots, LG Nexus 5X has two memory options such as 16GB/32GB while the remaining two devices have up to 32GB. And the Nexus 6P has an additional extra large inbuilt storage up to 128 GB.

On camera, The optical image stabilization (OIS) was eliminated on both the 6P and 5X and add Laser autofocus for quick focus. Wireless charging is also removed on 6P and 5X, both have USB-C and fingerprint sensor located on the back panel of the device.
