New ZTE Axon 7 128GB variant was officially unveiled in China back in May of this year, it is the company’s latest flagship device in the Axon 7 series. And now the handset can be purchased in the USA. ZTE Axon 7 128GB ROM + 6GB RAM Unlocked model has officially listed ZTE USA website for $499.98 in Ion Gold color option. 
New ZTE Axon 7 6GB RAM variant features a 5.5-inch 2.5D AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that’s offering a very pixel density of 538ppi and the screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor which is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 b4-bit chipset clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. As mentioned above the handset comes with a massive 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage (UFS 2.0), which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of microSD card.
For optics features, new Axon 7 flaunts a 20-megapixel primary camera with Samsung Isocell sensor, f/1.8 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Sapphire Crystal Lens and dual LED flash. It can also record 4K UHD videos at 30fps. While there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture to capture wide selfies and better video calling. The handset comes with a rear fingerprint sensor and has dual stereo speakers along with two dedicated audio chips (AK4961 & AK4490) from AKM. It also has Dolby Atmos surround sound for an enhanced audio experience.

New ZTE Axon 7 128GB model runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS based on MiFavour UI 4.0 on top of it. It’s backed by 3250mAh battery that also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, promises to charge 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes and 0% to 100% in 100 minutes. The handset supports Hybrid Dual SIM, where the second SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. 
On the connectivity front, it includes 4G LTE (Cat 6), 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port with reversible charging. It measures 154 x 77 x 9.8 mm and weighs 175 grams.
Along with the new Unlocked ZTE Axon 7, the company also announced new Virtual Reality Headset named ZTE VR in China, priced at $78, but no further details on the launch of the ZTE VR in USA currently.
