During an unspecified event, probably dedicated to the investors, Lenovo has lifted the curtain on the entire Motorola 2017 smartphone line up. According to the new leaked image, Lenovo will be launching a total of 9 smartphones spread across Moto Z, Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, and Moto C Series targeted at different price segment markets during the year.
The leaked image comes from the presentation slide was shared by the Evleaks on its Twitter account and tweet “Motorola 2017” with the image.
First is the high-end Moto Z 2017 series, which has been said to feature ‘Unlimited Capabilities’, the company will launch Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force under Moto Z 2017 line up. The Moto Z Play will come with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and feature support for Moto Mods, while the Moto Z Force will sport a ShatterShield screen and feature support for gigabit LTE and Moto Mods. As Gigabit LTE is currently supported only by Snapdragon 835 processor, the Moto Z Force will feature the aforementioned processor if not a newer variant.
Second is the Moto X 2017 series, which has been described under ‘Unlimited Perfection’ by the Lenovo. The device will feature a 5.2-inch full-HD display with curved edges, a SmartCam, Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, and a 3800mAh battery, which was leaked in the past as Moto X4.
Coming to the most popular Moto G 2017 series to come as ‘Unlimited Premium’. Lenovo will launch Moto GS and Moto GS+ smartphones this year, but Evan Blass says that the phones will be named Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus instead. The Motorola G5S will come with a 5.2-inch full-HD display and full metal body while the Motorola G5S Plus will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display and a dual-camera setup.
Next to the budget segment Moto E 2017 series, described as ‘Unlimited Value’ in the leaked image, Lenovo will launch Moto E and Moto E Plus smartphones this year. The Moto E will feature a 5-inch HD display and 2.5D curved glass. While the Motorola E Plus will sport a 5.5- inch display, 5000mAh battery and the company also included a fingerprint sensor in the Moto E 2017 series.
Finally coming to the all new Moto C 2017 series has been described as ‘Unlimited Essentials’. There will be two new models including Motorola C and Motorola C Plus. The Moto C will feature a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, while the Moto C Plus will come with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and a 4000mAh battery.
