DJI introduced the new Mavic Mini drone with remote control, one battery and a set of additional blades – it is all included in the usual kit – it also includes two additional batteries, protection for the blades, a bag, three sets of blades and a controller.
For many, the main feature of the DJI Mavic Mini is not the price or the camera at all, but the mass. The fact is that the drone weighs 249 grams, which means that it does not need to be registered either in the USA or in Canada. The dimensions of the DJI mini Mavic drone are from 140 x 82 x 57 mm when folded or 245 x 290 x 55 mm when unfolded, taking into account the blades.
Also, the dronedj should please with battery, since it is declared equal to 30 minutes. For example, the Spark model is not only larger and heavier but can last only 16 minutes in the air. The maximum speed of the drone is almost 47 km / h, and the maximum height is about 3 km.
Returning to the new product, it is equipped with a 12-megapixel camera, the parameters of which are largely similar to the Spark camera. But, for example, Spark video resolution is limited to Full HD, and the new DJI Mavic Mini – 2.7K. At the same time, the maximum bitrate is 40 Mbps versus 24 for Spark. Like the older models, the camera of the new drone is mounted on a 3-axis gimbal-stabilizer.
DJI also included a Hollywood-esque shooting mode: QuickShots mode allows pilots to capture unique, complex shots through camera-based subject tracking and pre-programmed flight patterns. A new CineSmooth mode is also available, which regulates the Mini’s speed and movements to achieve extra-smooth shots. These modes and more can easily be accessed through DJI’s new Fly app, which is designed to make capturing and sharing images easy and intuitive.

The DJI Mavic Mini price has been set at $399 for the standard model and $499 for the Fly More Combo kit, and it can be pre-ordered through Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.com online stores.
