MSI Vigor GK80 and GK70 Mechanical Keyboards Announced: Price and Specifications

MSI has announced two new gaming keyboards from its Vigor line-up, we are talking about all new Vigor GK80 and Vigor GK70, featuring mechanical switches, anodized aluminum base and customizable RGB backlighting.

Both come with a very compact design, which does not provide the classic palm rest, but uses Cherry MX Red switches, individually programmable and manageable with the proprietary Mystic Light software. The Mystic Light Sync option, on the other hand, will allow you to synchronize keyboards with other compatible devices too.

The substantial difference between the two MSI gaming keyboards lies in the number of keys: the Vigor GK80 has 105 keys, integrating numeric keypad and multimedia keys, instead absent on the Vigor GK70. As a result, the dimensions of the two devices are different: GK80 measures 439 x 141 x 38 mm, while GK70 falls to 354 x 137 x 46 mm.

Other worth mentioning features are the 100% anti-ghosting support with N-Key rollover (all keys in gaming mode), and the possibility of using a series of key covers supplied in bundles by MSI; in detail it is 4 double material metal and plate keycaps and 12 double injection and material keycaps.
