MSI Trident X With Intel Core i9-9900K SoC and NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti GPU Announced

MSI’s Trident PC line up has always tried to meet the needs of a PC gamer with above-average performance, but are not willing to compromise on the dimensions of the case. In the more compact variants, the MSI Trident has dimensions not too different from those of modern gaming consoles. On the occasion of the presentation of the new Intel processors, MSI has raised the curtain on the latest Trident Gaming PC, introducing MSI Trident X, an energized powerhouse in a small case.

MSI wastes no time and confirms that in its richer configuration Trident X will be equipped with the new Intel Core i9-9900K combined with the recent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU, which is the current most powerful consumer GPU on the market. Everything is enclosed in a 10.36-liter housing measuring 129.74 x 382.73 x 396.39 mm and weighing 6.55 kg.

It is easy to understand that in order to co-exist such powerful components in a compact case, MSI has adopted specific measures in the design of the cooling system. Silent Storm Cooling 3 provides three separate rooms dedicated to CPU, GPU and power supply. Trident X is the first compact PC to integrate an SFX power supply with other things.

MSI Trident X will be available in November and, considering the combination of power and small size, it will be necessary to keep an important outlay in mind. The prices start at $2,299 for the basic configuration that is equipped with Intel Core i7-9700k CPU and GeForce RTX 2070 GPU.
