MSI Optix MAG301CR 200hz Gaming Monitor With HDR, AMD FreeSync

With the Optix MAG301CR, MSI is showing a new 30 inch curved monitor in 21:9 format that combines a VA panel with a 200hz fast frame rate, including AMD FreeSync and a decent resolution, in order to be able to offer gamers the most complete package possible with this new MSI curved monitor.

The heart of the new MSI monitor is a VA panel with a radius of 1500R and a 21:9 format with a diagonal of 30 inches and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels. The manufacturer promises a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a complete representation of the sRGB color space, and a 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, which also makes the display ideal for multimedia applications.

The extra-wide aspect ratio in combination with curved screen large panel offers comfortable space for multitasking, as there is effortlessly enough space for several windows next to each other. But gamers should also appreciate the additional space and above all the particularly short response time of just one millisecond because the high frame rate and fast response can give a competitive advantage in fast MOBAs, shooters or real-time strategy games. Thanks to AMD FreeSync, tearing should be avoided even at lower frame rates.
