Motorola Droid Maxx 2 with 21MP camera and 3630mAh Battery Launched

The duo Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 has officially announced by Verzion and Motorola. In fact, the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 is a upgraded variant of the Moto X Play was launched a few months ago. However, Moto X Play is a version for the international market. Meanwhile, the Droid Maxx 2 is an exclusive product from Verizon US.

Like the Moto X Play, Motorol Droid Maxx 2 features a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core chip clocked at 1.7GHz along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with a 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and also supports external MicroSD card to expand memory up to 128GB.

The Droid Maxx 2 bears a long lasting 3630mAh battery capacity that’s rated to deliver up to 48 hour mixed usage time on a single charge, according to Motorola. On camera front, the Moto Maxx 2 sports a 21-megapixel primary camera on the back along with dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF – Phase Detect Autofocus. While front has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with wide-lens to capture a group selfies.

The Motorola Droid Maxx 2 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, and Verzion will be allowed to upgrade to Marshmallow in the future. Reportedly, the Maxx 2 will hit store shelves at the same time as Droid Turbo 2, on 29/10/2015. The price of the phone is $384 off contract. The device comes in only two color options such as Black with Deep Sea Blue Back and White with Winter White Back.
