Motorola is expected to launch a flagship Moto Z3 Play in the market soon. There have been a few leaks around the Z3 Play phones floating on the Internet, and the new live images leak reiterate the same key design elements.
In a post on ithome, a tipster has leaked images of the alleged Moto Z3 Play revealing a few design details of the smartphone. The live images of the Moto Z3 Play show the handset’s front and rear end, and the first thing to notice is the device identified with the code XT1929 and will be based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It should have a large display in 18:9 format and a rear dual camera placed horizontally.
Meanwhile, the image of the rear panel reveals a glossy glass back with the dual rear camera setup alongside a Moto logo and a Pogo pin connector. The image has a poor quality but reveals a thin-bezel display panel and a glass back and the Pogo pin connector to establish compatibility with Moto Mods.
On the front, the Moto Z3 Play has ditched the home button and is instead featuring on-screen keys. The display is also expected to come in a 6-inch size and with Full HD+ (1080×2160) pixels resolution. Moreover, there isn’t a fingerprint sensor available on the front, as per the leaked images. This suggests that the smartphone might have a fingerprint sensor module hidden under its power button.
Recall to Moto Z3 Play specifications, the device will come with a Snapdragon 636 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of native storage. The smartphone is also said to come with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the front. Furthermore, it is expected to pack a 3000mAh battery under the hood.
