Moto G8 Plus With 6.3-inch FHD+ LCD display, Triple rear cameras, SD665, 4GB RAM Launched

After a huge discount on the Moto G7 series, Motorola has now announced the Moto G8 Plus smartphone in India. It is a mid-budget device that comes with a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display, 4GB RAM, Triple Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.

Price and Availability

The Moto G8 Plus price in India has been set at Rs. 13,999 – approximately $197 for the sole 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage version. The device will go on sale from the end of this month through Flipkart.com and it comes in Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink color options.

The Motorola G8 Plus features a 6.3-inch LCD Waterdrop notch display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.

On the camera front, the Moto G 8 Plus bears a 48-megapixel rear camera with Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, 0. 8um pixel size, PDAF, LED flash, 16-megapixel 117-degree Ultra-wide Action camera with 2.0um Quad Pixel technology, f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with laser autofocus. For selfie, there is a 25-megapixel front-facing camera with Face Unlock.

The Motorola G8 Plus has a plastic back, splash resistant body, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual stereo speakers with Dolby audio and packs a 4000mAh battery that promises 40 hours of battery life on a single charge, and with 15W TurboPower (charger in the box) ultra-fast charging, you can fuel up fast with 8 hours of power in just 15 minutes, says the company.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 158.4x 75.8×9.1 mm and weighs 188 grams.
