After launching the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India, Motorola USA official page has listed the another Moto G 4th Edition handset – Moto G4 Play aka Moto G Play. User can now sign-up to get availability details of the Moto G4 Play and will go on sale starting mid-summer 2016. Moto G4 Play price yet to unveil but is listed with full specification details on official website.
The Motorola Moto G4 Play features 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can rated to deliver a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU. It packs in 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the imaging capabilities, the Moto G Play bears an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It can shoot 1080p HD videos at 30 fps and also comes with various camera modes such as Tap to capture, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, Drag to focus and Exposure. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture with display flash to capture bright selfie and video calling. The handset has Ergonomic design along with water repellent nano-coating and comes in Black and White colors options.
The Moto G Play runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and packs a 2800mAh battery with rapid charger. It also supports accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. Motorola Moto G4 Play will offer two years of free storage at original quality in Google Photos app as well.
It supports Single SIM 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0, OTG, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options. It measures
