Microsoft Band 2 with OLED Display, Silver and Black design Launched at $249

The second device that Microsoft unveiled at an event that is the Smart Health Monitoring Microsoft Band 2. As rumored, Microsoft introduced its new 2nd generation Smart band along with Lumia 950 and 950XL. The design of the product is now coming to a more detailing, silver and black color combination should look nice and modern than the full black as the previous Band.

The Microsoft Band 2 uses OLED rectangle curved touch screen display and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which was better fitted on curved screen as well as increased durability of the Band. Microsoft says much about the health features of Microsoft Band 2nd Generation with heart rate sensor, the ability to track the VO2 Max levels – optimal amount of oxygen the body can absorb in minute depending on the situation of users such as climbing, running or jumping. User can also quickly monitor heart rate and blood oxygen levels without the need of any other complex devices.

Microsoft Band 2 also has all the functions you expect in any other SmartWatch such as display notifications, various applications like Starbucks, Uber, Facebook, RunKeeper and much more. It also includes new sensors like GPS, gyroscope, and barometer which will enable sleep tracking, UV monitoring, calculate calorie and workouts. It also supports Cortana integration for instant checking emails, call alerts, text messages, social updates and calendar.

The Microsoft Band 2.0 will be officially available to pre-order from Tuesday in the US and will start shipping to customers from October 30 at $249. At the moment, unknown size like small, medium and large as the previous model. This time Band 2 will be synchronized Microsoft applications with Android and iOS and of course Windows 10 Mobile.
