Meizu X8 With 6.2-inch FHD+ Display, Dual Rear Camera, SD 710, 6GB RAM Launched

Meizu X8 has been officially launched in China. It is one of the latest mid-budget smartphones with a 6.2-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and dual rear camera sensor from the Meizu China being launched today.

Meizu X8 Price and Availability

Meizu X8 price in China starts from CNY 1598 – approximately $230 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, while 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version will cost CNY 1798 – approximately $262 and CNY 1998 – approximately $291 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model. It will go on sale in China starting from October 15, 2018. The handset is available in Black, Blue, and White color variants.

Meizu X8 Specifications

The Meizu X8 features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 brightness, 83% NTSC color gamut, and 401ppi pixel per density. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform paired with Adreno 616 GPU and 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X of RAM. It packs a 64GB/128GB (UFS 2.1) of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.

The X8 flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, 6P lens, Sony IMX362/Samsung 2L7 sensor, Dual PD focus along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. It has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI face unlock. The Meizu X8 has a glass back panel with a fingerprint sensor.

The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Flyme OS out of the box. It packs a 3210mAh battery with mCharge fast charging. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, USB C and 3.5 mm audio jack options. The device measures 151.2×74.6×7.8mm and weigh 160 grams.
