Meizu M5c with Flyme 6, 3000mAh battery Announced

After the listing of the Meizu M5 in USA through third-party retailer Amazon, now the company launched the other budget smartphone called Meizu M5c in China. It is the latest affordable smartphone from the company, and it is said to be designed for international customers. Meizu M5c price not yet revealed, but it is expected to come under $250 and comes in five Black, Gold, Blue, Red and Pink color variants.

The company will be selling the M5c in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Mainland China, France, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Myanmar, New Zealand, Russia, Spain and Ukraine.

Meizu M5c Specifications

The Meizu M5c features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, along with 1000:1 contrast ratio. The minimum brightness is 5.5 nit and the screen also comes with ‘sophisticated GFF full-lamination technology’. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit MediaTek processor (unspecified chipset model) with Mali-T720 GPU. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the M5s has an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 4P lens, IPS and LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p video at 30fps. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide f/2.0 aperture and cameras also support ArtSoft beautification algorithm to capture stunning images.

The Meizu M5c is the first international smartphone to come with Flyme 6 OS out-of-the-box, that also include the company’s One Mind artificial intelligence which learns your usage pattern and helps allocate memory to your applications based on your usage in order to deliver the best experience. It packs a 3000 mAh battery with band 20 4G functionality for the international market. It has a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G VoLTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options. It comes with an 8.3mm thin body, and weighing only 135 grams.
